Built for the storytellers Nollywood overlooks
DUN Creative Hub began as a simple observation: talent in Nigerian cinema has never been the bottleneck, access has. This is the space we're building to change that.

Mentorship over gatekeeping. Craft handed down, not guarded.
Why We Exist
After two decades on Nigerian film sets, first as an actor, then a producer, then a director, one pattern kept repeating: the most talented people in the room were rarely the ones with the best resources. Aspiring directors shot on borrowed phones. Writers with genuinely brilliant scripts had nowhere to workshop them. Actors trained themselves in living rooms.
DUN Creative Hub was founded to close that gap directly: not with another grant program or a one-off workshop, but with a permanent, physical space: real studios, real equipment, real mentorship, available to the people who need it most.
The Hub is incubated by DUN Entertainment, the production company behind the work you see in the photography on this site, and is being built by David Nnaji, a Nollywood actor, producer, and director, alongside a growing team of industry mentors and partners committed to the same mission.
Our Mission
To close the infrastructure gap in African filmmaking by giving storytellers direct access to world-class training, equipment, and production space.
Our Vision
A Nollywood where talent, not access to equipment or capital, is the only thing standing between an idea and a finished film.
Our Values
Craft over convenience, mentorship over gatekeeping, and community over competition. We build for the storytellers who come after us.

A letter from the founder
I have spent two decades on Nigerian film sets — first as an actor, then a producer, then a director.
One pattern kept repeating. The most talented person in the room was almost never the one with the best resources. I watched directors with real vision shoot on borrowed phones. I read scripts good enough to be made and watched them die because there was nowhere to develop them. I met actors who had trained themselves in living rooms because no one would train them anywhere else.
None of that is a talent problem. Nigeria has never had a talent problem. It is an access problem, and access is something you can actually build.
So that is what we are building. Not another grant cycle or a weekend workshop that ends when the funding does, but a permanent place: real studios, real equipment, real teaching, open to the people who need it and priced so that need is not the thing that disqualifies them.
DUN Entertainment has been making films through exactly the constraints this place is meant to remove. We know precisely what is missing, because we have worked around it for years. The Hub is what we wish had existed when we started.
If you are the person I was twenty years ago — talented, serious, and locked out — this is being built for you. Come and use it.
